RJH has been involved in the manufacture of grinding, polishing, and linishing machines for over 50 years. In February 1999, it was acquired by Morrisflex, which specializes in the production of deburring tools and finishing machines for precision industries. Subsequently the machines division of Morrisflex was transferred to RJH, which was then demerged from the parent company. RJH is now an independent, privately-owned company.

Today RJH manufactures and supplies a wide range of machines for a variety of applications.
Its industrial products are marketed under the brands of RJH production machines, GRIT workshop machines, and Morrisflex Powerfin machines for continuous production and specialized applications.
RJH education products lead the market in grinding, polishing, sanding, and vacuum form trimming and finishing machines for Design and Technology (D&T) workshops in schools and colleges. A range of dust extractors is also available.
The Heckmondwike Yorkshire factory employs a highly skilled and experienced labour force. Marketing is the responsibility of Graham Minton whose background is in industrial design. Customer service and internal administration is managed by Sara Whitworth who has been with RJH for many years. John Potts, the Production Manager, is responsible for all aspects of manufacturing.
