RJH Morrisflex began manufacturing quality industrial machines in 1937. Some forty years later we applied our knowledge of manufacturing machines and introduced a range of equipment to meet the specific needs of education workshops. These grinding, polishing, sanding and vacuum form trimming and finishing machines now represent a large portion of the machines we build. A range of dust extractors is also available to complement these machines

Educational Machines

Further refinement of the industrial machines, specifically in terms of safety, and an in-depth study of demand in the market led to the launch of the System 2000 range of machines in the mid nineties. These machines incorporated special safety guarding, additional electrical safety features including lock-off buttons and a unique knee/thigh stop bar for emergencies making them ideal for students to use in various educational applications.

At RJH Morrisflex we recognized that the materials used in school workshops differ from those used in industrial applications. We therefore designed slower speed polishers suitable for plastics and acrylics as well as useful features such as tilting tables on our vertical bandfacers.

We also developed the revolutionary GERBIL Vacuum Form Trimming Machine to address the problems associated with cutting out vacuum-formed moulds in the increasingly popular discipline of plastics. The Gerbil allows students to trim vacuum formings with or without a flange, to cut slots and rebates in soft woods, MDF and very soft metals, and to carry out light sanding tasks.

Over the years further improvements have been made to the design and safety features of the educational machines and RJH Morrisflex machines are now easier and safer to use than ever before.

RJH machines are available in bench or pedestal versions, suitable for connection to centralised dust extraction system, or as self contained machines with integral dust extraction.
