Polisher with integral dust extraction
This latest Chamois will further enhance the reputation of RJH as the leading supplier of fine purpose-built polishing machines for Educational and Training Environments
The Chamois double-ended polisher has a fine pedigree and is favoured for training purposes in most educational establishments. This latest model now offers significantly improved dust extraction, plus quick, clean removal of waste by means of a dust tray. A motor cover is fitted as standard for heat protection, and the machine has new, ergonomically placed user-friendly controls for enhanced operator convenience. Taper adaptors are fitted, suitable for use with polishing mops, finishing wheels or wire brushes. The Chamois carries a two year warranty and is supplied with a comprehensive operating manual.
APPROVED SAFETY FEATURES
The Chamois fully complies with HSE and COSHH regulations, the European CE mark directive and also with the BS4163 "Health & Safety on Workshops of School and Similar Establishments". Features include:
- No-volt overload push button starter
- 110 volt control circuit
- Motor thermal overload protection
- Emergency knee stop bar
- Protective sleeves on taper nose on both sides of the polishing mop
- Fire retardant terylene needlefelt dust bag
- Heavy duty adjustable polycarbonate eye shields
- Large adjustable mop guards with safe edging and extraction spigots
- Excellent workpiece access

- Flexible Halogen floodlight with transformer is available.
- Lockable triple pole isolator.
- Single phase unit (3000 rpm machine only).
- Parallel adaptors.
- Lockable "E" stop.
- The Chamois can be supplied without dust extraction system for use as a bench model, or mounted on a pedestal
